Jennifer Keenahan

Jennifer Keenahan is an Associate Professor in Civil Engineering at University College Dublin (UCD) and Deputy Chair of WITS Ireland. Her work sits at the intersection of research, teaching, and leadership in engineering, with a focus on applying advanced modelling and evidence-based approaches to improve how we design, assess, and educate for a safer and more sustainable built environment. At UCD, she teaches and supports the next generation of engineers while contributing to research and supervision across civil engineering topics. Through her role with WITS Ireland, Jennifer is committed to strengthening pathways for women in STEM – championing visibility, progression, and practical supports that help translate expertise into influence and leadership.
